Terms of Service

Version 1.0 · last updated 21 September 2026.

These terms govern your use of DueArmor. They are written in plain language on purpose; if anything is unclear, ask us before you agree.

1. Who we are

DueArmor is a payment-recovery and cash-control service for freelancers, consultants, and small agencies. The operating company is currently being formed; these terms apply to your use of the service in the meantime and will transfer to the company on incorporation without any change to your rights.

2. What the service does

DueArmor helps you track invoices and clients, prioritises who to contact about overdue payments, provides bilingual message templates, forecasts cash flow, and recommends deposits for new work. It is a collections and planning layer, not accounting software, legal advice, or a debt-collection agency.

The service is in its pre-launch stage. Features may change, and new plans or limits may be introduced as we grow. We will always tell you before a change affects your data or access.

3. Your account

You need an account to use DueArmor. Give us accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has accessed your account. One account per person; you are responsible for everything done under it.

4. Free and paid plans

The free plan covers up to 25 open invoices. Paid plans (unlimited invoices and clients, client risk scoring, deposit calculator, priority support) will be introduced at launch. Prices and limits shown on the pricing page apply; we will never start charging an existing free user without clear advance notice and your explicit agreement.

5. Acceptable use

Use DueArmor for your own lawful business. Do not abuse the service, probe or disrupt it, scrape other users’ data, send spam through reminder features, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Your data is yours

Every client, invoice, payment, and note you enter belongs to you. We host it so the service works, and we never sell it, share it with advertisers, or use one customer’s data to benefit another. You can delete your account, and all of your data with it, at any time from the account page. Contact us if you need an export first and we will provide one.

7. Our intellectual property

The DueArmor software, design, message-template library, and scoring methods belong to us. Your subscription gives you the right to use them while your account is active, not to copy, resell, or reverse-engineer them.

8. Demo-stage disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” while we are pre-launch: there is no uptime SLA yet, forecasts and scores are planning aids based on your own data (not guarantees of payment), and occasional downtime for improvements is possible. We work to keep the service fast and reliable, and paid plans will carry stronger commitments.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses such as unpaid invoices, lost profit, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or, on the free plan, to zero. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

10. Termination

Either side can end this agreement at any time: you by deleting your account, us by suspending or closing accounts that breach these terms (we will give notice first except for serious abuse). On termination your right to use the service ends; your data is deleted with your account.

11. Changes to these terms

Terms are versioned and dated (see top of this page). If we change them, we will post the new version here and highlight material changes; continued use after that point means you accept them. The version you accepted and when is what counts in any dispute.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms: use the account page in the app, or write to the support address published on our homepage once it is live. We read everything.
